Ahsan Hamid Durrani is an experienced social development and public policy expert with a diverse background in project management, conducting qualitative, quantitative, and Human-Centred Design (HCD) research, policy formulation and analysis, strategic communications, capacity building, and monitoring & evaluation. Ahsan has worked on and managed projects for numerous development sector organisations in the areas of youth development, inclusive education, climate change, public health, good governance, and peacebuilding & conflict resolution over the course of more than a decade. Working directly with governments (both federal and provincial) in a number of policy consulting positions has allowed Ahsan to gain extensive policy formulation experience over the years. His unique expertise, which combines the development sector and policy advice, makes him a key player in Pakistan’s social development sector. Ahsan has also previously worked as a Policy and Institutional Support Consultant for the United Nations Development Programme. As a trainer with an international reputation, he has conducted training sessions and delivered policy masterclasses in more than 25 different countries. He is frequently consulted by prominent national and international think tanks for policy discussions and dialogues.
